Why change all that?
Well, he had a clear vision of a design and marketing consultancy staffed by senior individuals where every member of the team offered value to the agency proposition and the client's project. This would be a team that could integrate with its client's way of thinking and cut through the noise in any market-place to send out a clear message for the brand; send out a clear signal.

It was a moment of clarity.

How?
James's experience covers a wide range of B2B and consumer sectors and he's one of those rare professionals who can combine precisely-honed creative instinct with sharp commercial acumen.
He's equally at home with a pack of Crayola crayons or a SWOT analysis; a jack of numerous trades and a master of all of them. He says he would never ask anybody on the team to do something that he feels he couldn't do himself. This could be dangerous since he's an extreme sports fanatic.
