Control Risks is an independent, specialist risk consultancy with 27 offices on five continents. They enable their clients to operate, travel and succeed in complex or hostile business environments. We have worked on several highly rewarding web and multimedia projects for Control Risks over the last four years, establishing a strong working relationship with the Communications team.
Projects include a travel security risks CD-Rom used as a global sales tool. A multi-layered animation which involved scripting and actor voiceovers, this involved a realistic and detailed case study of security issues and scenarios surrounding a major incident in the Middle East.
The Control Risks Training website was designed as a sales tool and information resource for security based courses run nationwide. The gritty graphic style had to appeal to a target audience of current and ex-service personnel, and others based in the security/hostile risks industry. As such it has been a resounding success in a crowded marketplace of like minded but inferior products.
The most recent web project has been the digital transformation of respected annual publication 'RiskMap', which brings together sensitive, perceptive and highly researched security and political forecasts for the coming year. An invaluable tool for government and global organisations alike, we built a formidable CMS allowing for each country in the world to have multiple risk forecasts and audio, video and multi-language text reports available at a click. It was a huge success and a project we will be revisiting for its next release in late 2009.
